오늘은 반달곰원장이 최근에 2020년도 MBA입학지원일정을 오픈하고 지원서를 오픈한 미국 시카고의 명문대학교인 노스웨스턴 Northwestern University 의 Kellogg MBA에 대해서 말씀을 드리겠습니다. 얼마전에 소개해드린 시카고대학교 Booth MBA와 함께 시카고를 대표하는 켈로그MBA는 마케팅등 많은 분야에서 실력있는 인재를 배출하는 것으로 유명하여 세계 탑기업들로부터 사랑을 받고 있습니다.
그럼 먼저 2020년도 MBA신입생 입학을 위한 지원일정을 먼저 살펴보겠습니다.

Kellogg’s purpose is to educate, equip and inspire brave leaders who create lasting value. Provide a recent example where you have demonstrated leadership and created value. What challenges did you face and what did you learn? (450 words)
Values are what guide you in your life and work. What values are important to you and how have they influenced you? (450 words)
Video Essay
The video essay provides you with an additional opportunity to demonstrate what you will bring to our vibrant Kellogg community — in an interactive way. You will respond to several short video essay questions. The questions are designed to bring to life the person we have learned about on paper.

Kellogg has a diverse student body and values students who are inclusive and encouraging of others with differing perspectives and backgrounds. Please tell us about a time when you witnessed the candidate living these values. (300 words)

위와 같은 입학조건을 만족시켜야 합니다. 보통은 학생들이 최소한 2년이상의 직장경력을 가지길 강하게 권하고 있습니다. required가 아니고 recommended이나 되도록이면 직장경력을 갖추시길 바라겠습니다. 그리고 입학지원라운드는 1,2 라운드에서 지원하시길 권하고 있습니다. 그래서 마지막 라운드 지원자의 경우 합격 가능성이 떨어진다는 이야기가 나온다는 것입니다.
그럼 켈로그 Kellogg MBA에 합격한 학생들이 어느 정도의 스펙을 가지고 있는지 확인해보겠습니다.
Kellogg MBA합격생의 숫자는 482명인데 그중에 42%는 여학생입니다. 상당히 비율이 높습니다. 여학생들이 좋아하는 비즈니스 스쿨이 바로 Kellogg School of Management 인것 같습니다. 켈로그 MBA학생들의 평균 MBA 점수는 732점입니다. 그러므로 켈로그MBA를 목표로 하는 분들은 최소한 732점을 만들어야 할 것입니다. 평균나이는 28세이고 평균 직장경력은 5.1년입니다. 그리고 학생들의 80%의 직장경력은 3.5년에서 7년사이입니다.
그리고 Kellogg에는 2년 풀타임MBA외에 1년 one Year MBA가 있습니다. 필수과목들을 이수한 학생들, 보통 학부대 경영학을 전공한 학생들이 그 조건을 만족하겠는데 1년MBA로 과정을 이수할 수 있습니다. 그럼 1년MBA와 풀타임MBA의 학비에 대해서 안내를 해드리겠습니다.
