반달곰원장이 드디어 남아공 케이프타운에 있는 어학원을 소개해드리겠습니다. 반달곰원장이 소개를 해드리는 학교는 반달곰원장이 직접 두발로 찾아가서 방문하고 오너와 이야기를 나누고 학생들의 공부하는 모습을 살펴본 학교들입니다. 그래서 어떤 분위기인지, 어떤 학생들이 가면 좋을지에 대해서 자세히 컨설팅 해드릴 수가 있습니다.

제일 먼저 소개해드릴 학교는 바로 케이프타운에 있는 Kurus English입니다. Kurus English의 오너는 Johannes Kraus로 독일 출신입니다. 독일인이지만 남아공 케이프타운이 좋아서 10여년 전부터 학교를 오픈하여 지금까지 잘 운영하고 있습니다. Johannes는 이 학교의 오너이자 현재 Education South Africa라는 남아공 어학원 연합회의 회장입니다.

젊고 유모감각이 있고 적극적이어서 회장감으로 최고라는 생각이 들더군요. Kurus English는 회장이 운영하지만 큰 학교는 아닙니다. 한반에 소수가 공부를 하기에 선생님에게 많은 것을 빠른 시간안에 얻을 수 있을 것입니다. 그리고 Kurus English는 공부뿐만이 아니라 오후에 케이프타운의 혼을 경험할 수 있는 다양한 문화활동을 제공하는데 cultural, social, historical excursion을 진행하여 남아공과 케이프타운을 공부하면서 영어실력을 향상 시킬 수 있습니다.
