우리나라에서 가장 유명한 유럽 MBA 프로그램이 아닐까 생각하는데요, 옛날에 헬싱키경영대학교Helsinki School of Economics(HSE), 헬싱키국제경영대학교Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration(HSEBA) 라고 불리우던 Aalto University School of Business 입니다. 우리나라에서는 아직도 Aalto MBA프로그램을 보내는데 대부분은 국내 회사에서 수업을 듣고 한달정도 헬싱키에서 수업들은 후에 MBA학위를 받는 시스템입니다. 엘지저자등 기업들이 직원들에게 MBA학위 프로그램을 할 수 있게 지원해주고 있습니다.
Aalto University School Business 의 전신 헬싱키비즈니스스쿨은 1911년도에 설림된 핀란드에서 가장 큰 비즈니스스쿨이고 핀란드에서 두번째로 오래된 비즈니스스쿨이며, 노드딕 국가들중에서는 가장 오래된 비즈니스스쿨중의 하나입니다. 2010년에 HSE가 Aalto University의 한 학교로 편입되면서 이름이 Aalto University School of Business로 바뀌었습니다. 약 3000명의 학생과 500명의 연구원들이 있는 알토대학교 비즈니스스쿨의 프로그램에 대해서 알아보도록 하겠습니다.

대부분 수업은 영어로 진행됩니다. 그리고 우리가 관심을 가지고 있는 MBA프로그램에 대해서 설명을 드리면 아래와 같습니다. 세계적인 인증기관인 AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS의 인증을 모두 받은 Aalto MBA는 매년 1월에 시작을 하는 2년제 MBA입니다. 유럽의 많은 MBA가 1년MBA인 것을 생각하면 조금은 다름을 알 수가 있습니다. 2017년 1월 입학을 위한 지원서 데드라인은 11월 18일 입니다. 그리고 Aalto Full Time MBA의 학비는 32300유로입니다.

Entry Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. If you are not sure about meeting this requirement, please contact the MBA team. Certified copies of academic degrees and transcripts will be asked for in the application form.
2. Minimum three years of relevant post-graduate work experience
The Aalto MBA is designed for individuals with significant professional work experience. Applicants typically have an average of 10 years of professional experience.
3. Good command of written and spoken English
Applicants should have a good command of both written and spoken English. Official language tests are not required, but in the application form, applicants are asked to write four essays. Also at least a part of the personal interview is conducted in English.
4. Two letters of recommendation
Two letters of recommendation are required from persons who know your strengths and abilities in a professional context (please see the application form). If you are between jobs or applying for admission independently, a former supervisor or employer can also act as a referee.
5. Personal meeting
Personal meeting is a mandatory requirement for all applicants. Please contact Aalto MBA staff (contact information on the right) in order to agree on the date for your personal interview.
6. Completed application documents
가장 중요한 것은 GMAT을 요구하지 않는다는 것입니다. 그래서 한국의 직장들에서 인기가 많은 해외 MBA프로그램일지 모릅니다. 그리고 영어는 4개의 에세이와 영어인터뷰를 통해서 실력을 측정합니다. 나머지 서류는 대동소이합니다. Aslto MBA입학조건중에서 가장 재미있는 것은 직장 경력입니다. 직장경력이 최소한 3년이상이어야 합니다.
