핀란드의 University of Oulu는 1958년에 설립되어 13,000여명의 학생과 2,900여명의 교직원이 캠퍼스에서 생활을 하고 있는 대학으로 핀란드에서 가장 크고 활발하게 다학제간 교육이 이루어지는 곳입니다. 오울루대학은 8개의 단과대학으로 구성되어 있는데, 아래와 같습니다.

2년의 석사 고정은 Master of Science (Technology) 혹은 Master of Health Science 학위를 취득할 수 있는 프로그램으로 다음과 같은 특징을 갖고 있습니다.

국제 석사 프로그램인 Biomedical Engineering (BME)는 생체역학, 의료영상 및 측정, 디지털 신호 및 영상 분석, 기계학습, 빅데이터 분석 및 의료정보학을 중심으로 하는 2년간의 학제간 프로그램입니다. 이 석사 과정은 학생들에게 직업적 관심사에 맞는 맞춤형 학습 프로파일을 제공합니다. 최근의 방법과 도구 기술이 다음과 같은 주제와 결합한 관련 기술 및 핵심 기술을 제공하고 있습니다.

졸업생의 직업 프로파일을 통해 졸업 후 어떤 진로를 찾아 갈 수 있는지 탐색해 볼 수 있습니다.
- Developing and testing products in the industry as well as marketing and post-marketing support and managerial tasks
- Research, education, and specialist duties in academia and research institutes
- Consulting on the use and procurement of products, evaluation of performance, maintenance, customization of appliances to clinical and research needs in health care units
- Public official tasks related to the quality control, and management, and establishment of safety standards
120 ECTS의 학점을 이수해야 졸업할 수 있는 이 과정의 학비는 10,000 Euro로 2년짜리 프로그램입니다. 여기에 30 ECTS의 학점이 최종논문에서 나옵니다.

그리고, 입학 심사는 다음의 기준을 기본으로 진행됩니다.
- The level and the relevance of the applicant's overall study record in the Bachelor's degree and other studies (0–10 points)
- The quality of the applicant's Motivation Letter (0–3 points)
- The quality of the CV (0–3 points)
- English language skills (0–2 points)
- Overall quality of the application (0-2 points)
필요하다면, 선발된 지원자에 한해 인터뷰가 스카이프나 전화 등의 방법으로 진행될 수 있습니다. 고득점 순으로 최대 30명의 학생들이 이 석사과정에서 선발됩니다.
온라인 신청서는 1월 20일까지 받고 있으며, 관련 서류 제출은 1월 27일까지 마쳐야 합니다.
