미국 펜실베니아주의 래드너 지역에 위치한 Villanova University는 1842년에 설립된 사립대학으로 US News & World Report 2021 랭킹의 Best National Universities에서 53위를 차지했습니다. 카톨릭계열의 사립대학으로 2차 세계대전 이후 간호대학, 법과대학 등의 신설과 함께 대학의 규모가 확장되면서 1953년 현재의 대학명 변경과 함께 종합대학으로 승격되었습니다.

Option One:
What is the truest thing that you know? How did you come to this conclusion?
Option Two:
Villanovans are known for "holding doors open" because inclusion is at the core of who we are. Take us on a journey through your background and describe how your life experience has shaped your understanding of the word "inclusion".
Option Three:
Generation Z is arguably the most technologically savvy cohort in history. They find answers to questions, discover troves of new music, or even start the next global social movement, all within seconds. How has this seemingly limitless connectivity influenced the person you have become?
Option Four:
In St. Augustine's book Confessions, one of the themes is the idea of redemption and second chances. Tell us a story about second chances. It can be your experience or one that you have come across through others or through media.

You may be aware that our community, which we have affectionately named “Nova Nation,” is an exciting place to be. With a legacy spanning 178 years, there is rich history to look back on, and an abundant future to look forward to. Our second Villanova essay question asks: Why do you want to call Villanova your new home and become part of our community?
Villanova University Test-Optional
SAT/ACT 성적 제출에 관해서는 빌라노바대학에서도 2020-21년 입학전형에서 이 대학시험성적을 요구하지 않는다고 합니다.
Villanova University is test-optional for the 2020-21 Admission Cycle.
While SAT/ACT results have been a part of our application process, we have always taken a holistic approach to our decision making. Grades, strength of curriculum, essays, extra-curricular activities and recommendations all remain important components of our admission review. Under this policy, students may choose whether or not to submit SAT and/or ACT results for consideration when submitting their applications. The optional writing section of each exam are not considered and SAT Subject Tests are not required.
We recognize that you may have not been able to take the SAT or ACT at all or as many times as you would have liked due to test cancellations. Therefore, you have the choice whether or not to submit any scores with your application.
