안녕하세요, 반달곰원장입니다.
얼마전에 반달곰원장이 핀란드 헬싱키의 University of Applied Sciences UAS인 Metropolia UAS의 입학지원일정에 대해서 안내를 해드렸습니다. 그런데, 학교에서 입학지원마감일정을 조정하여서 5월 31일까지 입학지원서를 받는다고 합니다. 그러니, 핀란드로 유학가고자 하는 분들은 열심히 준비하셔서 입학지원하시길 바랍니다. 지금 현재 지원서를 받는 과정은 아래와 같습니다.
Metropolia University of Applied Sciences will extend the admission period for all nationalities until 31 May 2020, for the following programs:
Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology
Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Logistics
Bachelor of Business Administration in European Business Administration
Master of Engineering in Information Technology
Master of Business Administration in Business Informatics
Master of Business Administration in Health Business Management
Master of Engineering in Health Business Management
Master of Social Services and Health Care in Health Business Management

Entry qualification
High school / higher secondary education
Your GPA needs to be at least 60% if you are applying without a SAT score. Submit also a grading scale in English if the scale is not indicated in the transcript.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Finnish / Swedish.
Often you can get a suitable certificate from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with copies of the original.
The translations need to be signed and stamped by an authorized translator.
You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
Territory requirements
Applications are accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): Africa, Albania, Americas, Asia, Belarus, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Oceania, Russia, Ukraine.
Language requirements
English
IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46 or equivalent*
English language test is not required if secondary education has been completed in English in a country where English is an official language (USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India, Philippines, etc.). In this case, submit an English medium letter.
If you have an SAT score, you don’t need to submit an English language test.
*exceptions for IELTS requirements due to the coronavirus outbreak can be made case-by-case.
Other requirements
A motivation letter must be added to your application.
The letter should be around one page long. Tell about yourself, your background, why you want to study in this program and what do you want to do after you graduate.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will be invited for an online interview.
