세상은 글로벌 마인드를 가진 인재를 필요로합니다. 이런 정신뿐만 아니라 윤리적 사고가 뒷받침되는 의사결정을 할 수 있는 리더를 원하는데요. 오늘은 이런 인재 교육을 위해 노력하고 있는 비즈니스 스쿨인 University of San Diego School of Business의 MBA과정에 대해서 알아보겠습니다.

아름다운 16세기 스페인 르네상스 건축 양식을 가진 캠퍼스는 주변에 해변과 산이 가까이 있고, 샌디에고 다운타운과도 가깝습니다. 사립의 카톨릭 대학교로 총 등록된 학생수는 대략 9천명으로 학부 과정은 41개 대학원 프로그램은 29개의 과정이 제공됩니다.

총 학생의 9%가 141개국의 나라에서 온 국제학생입니다. 신입생 95%가 캠퍼스 기숙사에 머물고 있으며, 학부생의 44%가 기숙사 생활을 하고 있습니다.

위의 과정 중 풀타임으로 진행되는 위의 두 과정에 대해서 알아보겠습니다.

Full-time MBA

자신의 프로그램 기간 및 전공 분야, 해외 옵션을 자신의 취향대로 맞출 수 있는 커리큘럼을 가진 풀타임 MBA 과정은 17개월 혹은 22개월에 마칠 수 있습니다. 재무관리에서 전략적 마케팅까지 다양한 학습 주제를 공부하면서 학생들은 자신의 기술을 확장하고, 진화시킬 수 있습니다. 워크숍, 모의 인터뷰, 코칭, 임원 멘토를 통해 MBA 경력 서비스 오피스는 학생들이 목표를 달성하기 위해 필요한 산업체 연결을 위한 다양한 도구를 제공합니다.

International MBA

International MBA는 글로벌 비즈니스 능력을 강화하고 자신의 경력을 발전시키는데 관심이 있는 직장인에게 이상적입니다. 1년 과정으로 USD의 마드리드 센터에서 시작하는데 Retiro 공원과 Prado 박물관에서 몇 블록 떨어진 곳에 센터가 위치합니다. 유럽의 경제, 문화, 정치 허브로 마드리드는 국제 비즈니스 교육을 시작하기에 가장 완벽한 장소입니다.

유럽의 현재 비즈니스 문제에 초점을 두고 글로벌 비즈니스의 실무를 배우고, 다문화 팀과 조직을 이끄는데 필요한 기술을 얻을 수 있습니다. 마드리드에 있는 회사의 견학은 그들의 성공과 도적을 직접 볼 수 있으며, USD와 스페인의 교수진은 국제 비즈니스에 대한 다양한 관점을 제공합니다.  

마드리드에서 여름을 보낸 후 학생들은 다른 MBA 학생이 있는 수업에 합류하면서 샌디에고에서 IMBA 프로그램을 계속 이어 갑니다. 커리큘럼은 기업가 정신에서 컨설팅까지 전문적인 가능성의 광범위한 범위를 포함하고 있습니다.

IMBA는 11개월 동안 최대 5개의 나라에서 수업을 들을 수 있으며, 전체 44학점의 과목을 수강하며, 그 중 핵심과목은 33학점, 선택과목은 11학점으로 이루어져 있습니다.
