2018년도 MBA지원이 거의 마무리 되어가고 있습니다. 대부분은 지원일정이 마무리 되었고 Hult International Business School의 마지막 지원일정도 6월 26일로 거의 다가왔습니다. 그래서 지금은 명문대학교들의 2019학년도 입학을 위한 입학지원일정이 하나둘씩 발표되기 시작하였습니다. 오늘은 반달곰원장이 텍사스주의 명문대학교인 University of Texas at Austin McCombs Businness School의 2019학년도 입학지원일정을 알려드리겠습니다.

위의 일정을 보면 1라운드가 10월9일에 마감이 됩니다. 오늘이 6월 15일이니 약 4개월 정도의 시간이 남았있습니다. 2라운드 마감은 내년 1월 8일이고, 마지막 3라운드 일정은 4월 2일에 마감이 됩니다. 올해 지원일정과 거의 비슷합니다.

위에서 보면은 MBA랭킹 탑20안에 들 정도로 명문중의 명문 MBA입니다. 알게 모르게 UT Austin McCombs MBA지원을 많이 하십니다. 특히나 랭킹에서 보면은 회계학분야에서는 미국에서 넘버 1을 유지할 정도로 매우 유명합니다. 그러므로 우리나라의 accounting 석사나 MBA를 원하는 분들은 McCombs MBA를 고려하시는 것이 좋습니다. 그럼 입학지원 조건에 대해서 알아보도록 하겠습니다.

recommendation. We want to get to know you further. Please introduce yourself. Select

b.Share a video introduction (one minute in length)
2.Picture yourself at graduation. Describe how you spent your time as a Texas McCombs MBA, and how that experience helped prepare you for the post-MBA world. (500 words)
Optional Statement:
Please provide any additional information you believe is important and/or address any areas of
concern that you believe will be beneficial to the Admissions Committee in considering your
application (e.g. gaps in work experience, choice of recommenders, academic performance, or
extenuating personal circumstances). (250 words)
에세이 질문은 크게 두개인데 첫번째는 자기소개를 에시이나 비디오 에세이로 작성하면 됩니다. 그리고 두번째 에세이는 졸업할 때의 자신의 모습을 그리는 것입니다. 나름 다른 MBA하고는 다른 에세이질문입니다. 그리고 선택사항으로 입학사정위원회에 어필할 내용이 있으면 optional essay를 작성하면 됩니다.
UT Austin McCombs MBA학비는 1년에 54500달러입니다. 2년MBA이므로 약 11만달러의 학비를 내야합니다. 1억원이 훨씬 넘는 학비를 투자하는 것이므로 잘 생각하고 지원을 해야 합니다. 지원을 한다고 하면 제대로 준비하여 좋은 결과를 만들어야 합니다. 텍사스에서 미래를 꿈꾸구 싶다면 반달곰원장에게 문의하시길 바랍니다.
