오늘은 간만에 하버드대학교 비즈니스스쿨 Harvard Business School 의 소식을 전하려고 합니다. 2017학년도 입학지원은 모두 끝났고 2018년 9월 입학을 위해서 모두들 몇달후인 9월에 있을 1라운드 지원에 촛점을 맞추고 있을 것이므로 그분들에게 도움을 드리고자 글을 올립니다. 하버드가 한국, 서울을 찾아오는 경우가 정말 줄어든 것 같습니다. HBS MBA가 안오면 관심많은 사람은 반대로 찾아가야겠지요. 바로 그런 분들에게 도움이 될 정보인 것 같습니다.
오는 5월 12일 오후1시 15분부터 오후 3시까지 HBS Campus tour 와 infosession이 진행되므로 관심있는 분들은 참가신청을 하여 학교에서 제공하는 HBS MBA프로그램에 대한 설명과 입학조건등을 살펴보시길 바라겠습니다. HBS이 하노이와 방콕까지는 오는데 나중에 오려고 하는지 한국에는 당장 올 계획이 없기에 관심있는 분들은 하버드대학교 캠퍼스에서 진행하는 HBS MBA 캠퍼스투어와 인포세션에 참석하기를 바랍니다.
이번 인포세션 참가신청은 여기를 클릭하시면 하실 수가 있습니다. 참가신청을 하면 아래와 같은 아내 이메일을 받게 되고 시간에 맞추어서 이벤트행사에 참가하면 됩니다.

Important things to keep in mind as you visit HBS:
The tour will take place from 1:15-2:00pm and leaves from the Admissions Office in the Dillon House. Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled campus tour. An Admissions staff member or an MBA student will be hosting your tour. Click here for a campus map.
Following the campus tour, an information session will take place from 2:00pm-3:00pm. During the academic year, group information sessions are co-hosted by MBA students and Admissions staff. Information sessions are primarily Q&A based; please review the MBA Program and MBA Admissions presentations in advance and come with questions.
You are welcome to leave belongings in Dillon House; however, please be certain to retrieve them before 5:00pm as our door locks at this time and the office closes. If you find that you cannot attend your Campus Tour and Information session, please revisit the registration page to cancel your registration.

탑랭킹 스쿨에 도전하는 분들은 보통 10개 정도의 학교에 지원을 합니다. 하버드MBA, 스탠포드MBA, MIT MBA, 콜롬비아MBA,유펜 와튼MBA, 시카고MBA, 노스웨스턴MBA, UCBerkeley MBA등 두루두루 지원을 합니다. 왜냐하면 워낙 경쟁이 치열해서 합격율이 낮기 때문입니다. 그러므로 학교에 직접 방문하고 어드미션팀을 만만서 살아있는 정보와 자신이 얼마나 좋은 후보자인지를 실제로 보여주는 것도 도움이 될 수가 있습니다. 물론 평가는 온라인 지원서와 GMAT 영어 인터뷰등으로 평가되는 것이지만 MBA도 정성들이기 따라서 얼마든지 자신한테 유리하게 만들 수가 있습니다. 그래서 직접 캠퍼스를 방문하고 스탭들을 적극적으로 만나시길 추천드립니다.
