안녕하세요, 반달곰원장입니다.
요즘 사진찍는 것을 좋아하는 사람들이 많습니다. 웬만한 카메라보다도 더 훌륭한 품질을 자랑하는 카메라가 탑재된 핸드폰으로 인하여 어디에서든 순쉽게 사진을 찍을 수가 있습니다. 반달곰원장도 사진찍는 것을 정말 좋아해서 DSLR 카메라를 몇개를 샀을 뿐만 아니라 망원렌즈에서 똑딱이까지 여러 렌즈를 따로 구매했었습니다. 아이에서 어른 할아버지들까지 모두들 사진을 찍는 세상이 되다보니 사진에 대한 관심들이 더욱 많아지는 것 같습니다.
그래서 오늘은 사진을 전문적으로 공부하고 싶어하는 분들에게 좋은 학교를 하나 소개해드리고자 합니다. 반달곰원장이 작년 11월 베를린 ICEF Workshop에서 만났었던 SPEOS Paris London Photographic Institute가 바로 그 학교입니다. 학교이름에서 알 수 있듯이 유럽 예술의 도시 파리와 런던에 학교를 두고서 사진관련한 certificate와 master학위를 제공하고 있습니다. 이상과 같이 본인의 목표에 따라서 1년과정을 할지 2년과정을 할지 유럽석사학위를 주는 과정을 할지 그냥 전문사진가 과정으로 할지를 고민하여 프로그램을 선택하여야 합니다. 학비는 전문연수과정이자 석사과정이기에 적당한 수준이라고 할 수 있겠습니다. 그럼 이런 SPEOS Paris London Photographic Institute 에 입학지원하기 위해서는 무엇이 필요한지 살펴보겠습니다.
The application documents for our Professional Programs include
• the completed Enrollment form
• a CV/resume and letter of motivation/statement of intent
• a portfolio of 10-15 photos
• certified copy of Bachelor’s degree (for European Master’s only)
온라인 지원서를 작성해야 하고 영문이력서와 에세이를 작성하여야 합니다. 그리고 10-15개의 포트폴리오를 제출하여야 하고 유러피언석사학위를 받고자하는 분들은 학사학위 증명서를 제출하여야 합니다. 그리고 합격을 하면 바로 1000유로를 디파짓으로 납입하여야 합니다. 그럼 이제 사진전문가, 사진학 석사학위공부를 하고 싶은 분들은 SPEOS를 고려하시길 바라겠습니다. 입학할 때 영어점수를 요구하지는 않지만 학교다니면서 토익 750점이상은 만들어야 하는 것이 필수사항입니다. 그러므로 영어로 인한 입학과 졸업이 어려운 것은 없습니다. 그럼 SPEOS Paris London Photographic Institute에 관심있는 분들은 반달곰원장에게 문의하시길 바라겠습니다.
