오늘은 반달곰원장이 인디애나대학교 Indiana University Kelley MBA에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다. 미국의 탑랭킹 인디애나대학교 켈리MBA는 우리나라에서도 상당히 인기가 높습니다. 특히나 국내의 성균관대학교가 더블학위를 제공하고 있어서 인지도가 높은데 미국내 MBA랭킹에서도 매우 순위를 보여주고 있습니다. 대표적인 랭킹을 말씀드리면 US News Business School랭킹에서 21위를 차지했다는 곳입니다. 주요 랭킹을 살펴보면 아래와 같습니다.

라운드1의 마감일은 10월 15일입니다. 라운드2의 마감은 1월 5일이고. 라운드 3의 마감일은 3월 1일입니다. 마지막 라운드4의 마감일은 4월 15일인데 보통 국제학생들은 라운드 1,2에 지원하는 것이 좋습니다. 그럼 이 일정에 맞추어서 준비해야 할 입학지원조건을 알아보겠습니다. 입학지원 10단계가 있는데 아래와 같습니다.

1. Prepare for, register and take the GMAT or GRE
2. International applicants: Prepare for, register and take the TOEFL or IELTS
3. Access the eApp
4. Contact one individual to submit a recommendation on your behalf
5. Access the admission essay questions
6. Scan and upload your official academic records
7. Update your resume and upload it to the resume section of the eApp
8. Submit your application online
9. Meet the deadlines
10. Schedule an interview
이중에서 2번째 단계인 영어점수조건을 알아보면 다음과 같습니다. Minimum scores: We require a minimum internet-based TOEFL score of 100; 600 on the paper-based TOEFL; or band 7.0 on the IELTS at the time of application in order to be eligible for admission. 4번째 단계인 추천서는 한분에게서만 받으면 됩니다. 그리고 가장 중요한 단계인 에세이에서의 질문은 아래와 같습니다.

1. Discuss your immediate post-MBA professional goals. How will your professional experience, when
combined with a Kelley MBA degree, allow you to achieve these goals? Should the short-term goals you have
identified not materialize, what alternate career paths might you consider? (500 words)
2. Respond to one of the following short essay prompts. (300 words)

b. I'm most afraid of...
c. My greatest challenge has been...

3. Share a brief fact about yourself that your classmates would find interesting, surprising, or noteworthy. (25 words)

credentials and essays represent you fairly, you shouldn't feel obligated to answer this question. (300 words)

켈리MBA의 학생수는 204명입니다. 200명수준의 학생을 매년 선발하고 있습니다. 여학생은 29%이고 국제학생은 30%입니다. 평균 나이는 28세이나 보통 학생의 나이 범위는 22-40세로 다양한 나이의 학생들이 같이 공부를 합니다. 평균 직장경력은 5년입니다. 평균 GPA는 3.38로 다른 탑랭킹MBA들보다는 조금 낮은 편입니다. 학점이 2.5-2.99사이의 학생의 비율이 12%나 되니 대학교 성적이 나빠서 걱정인 분들은 켈리MBA를 고려하시길 바라겠습니다.
평균 GMAT점수는 677점입니다. 700점이상이 44%이고 600-699점 사이가 46%이고 500-599점대가 10%나 됩니다. 그러므로 GMAT점수가 만족 스럽지 않으나 미국 탑랭킹에 도전하고 싶은 분은 켈리MBA에 도전하십시오.
