미국 매사추세츠주 Waltham에 위치한 Brandeis University는 1948년에 설립된 명문 사립대학으로 3635명의 학부 등록생수를 가진 작은 규모의 대학입니다. 2019년 US 대학 랭킹에서 35위를 차지한 이 대학은 처음 4학기 동안에는 기숙사 생활을 보장하고 있습니다. 학생들이 운영하는 TV와 라디오 방송국 뿐만 아니라 Brandeis는 종교, 공연 그룹, 서비스 조직, 문화 인식 그룹, 공연 그룹 등 여러 학생 조직을 운영하고 있습니다.
캠퍼스는 보스턴에서 14km정도 떨어진 곳에 위치하며, 유대인 공동체가 후원하는 비종교적이고 남녀 공학 대학으로 예전 미들섹스 대학 부지에 학교가 설립되었습니다. 이 대학의 이름은 미국 연방대법원의 첫 유태인 판사였던 Louis Brandeis의 이름을 따서 지어졌습니다.
대학의 학부과정에서 43개의 전공과 46개의 부전공 프로그램을 제공하며, 3분의 2의 학부 수업이 20명보다 더 적은 규모로 운영되고 있습니다. 브랜디스 대학은 AAU의 회원교로 1985년부터 활동하고 있고, 보스턴 칼리지, 보스턴 대학, 터프스 대학이 포함된 다른 대학교에서 수업에 참여할 수 있는 교차 등록을 허가하는 Boston 콘소시엄의 회원교입니다.

매년 10%의 입학에 성공한 학생들이 ‘Midyear class’에 배정이 되는데 이 수업은 1월에 시작합니다. Midyear Class에 입학하는 학생들은 가을학기 달에는 다른 활동이나 관심사를 추구하면서 시간을 보냅니다. 많은 학생들이 이 시간을 일하거나 여행을 하기도 하고, 일부 학생들은 자신의 거주 지역의 학교나 대학에서 학점을 딸 수 있는 수업들을 듣습니다.

- Completed Common Application
- Official copies of all high school transcripts and/or GED certificate. Transcripts must include official grades from ninth through eleventh grade to complete this required component.
- Official copy of SAT I scores or the official ACT scores in lieu of all SAT test scores.
n Please note that as of July 1, 2013, Brandeis has adopted a "test-optional policy," which means that domestic and Canadian applicants to Brandeis are not required to submit standardized test scores. Check our Test-Optional Policy page for more information.
- Official transcript(s) of any course(s) taken at the post-secondary school level
- Mid-year report from senior year which includes grades for all classes. For Early Decision I students, first quarter or first trimester grades will fulfill this requirement.
- A letter of recommendation from a teacher who has instructed you in a core academic course
- A School Report and a letter of recommendation from a secondary school official
