오늘은 반달곰원장이 일본의 교토대학교 MBA에 대해서 문의하신 분이 계셔서 Kyoto University MBA과정에 대해서 안내를 해드리겠습니다. International Project Management MBA과정은 IPROMAC MBA라고 하는데 매년 4월에 시작을 하는 2년MBA과정입니다.
IPROMAC MBA과정은 다양한 분야의 직장경력을 가지고 있는 직장인들을 초빙하는데 그렇다고 입학조건으로 직장경력을 요구하지는 않습니다. 입학정원은 10명 정도인데 해마다 퀄리티 있는 후보자의 숫장 따라서 한두명정도 더 많을 수도 적을 수도 있습니다. 그럼 교토대학교 MBA 입학지원 서류를 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
Application Materials Form Notes
1． Web Application Form

3． Detailed Educational Background and Employment History
4． Letters of Recommendation Form 3 Use the designated “Letter of Recommendation” form to submit 2 or more letters of recommendation (sealed) by professionals and individuals who have relationships with the applicant. The forms must be completed in Japanese or English.
5． Educational and Professional Plans
6． Transcript of Academic Record (Original only) If applicants cannot send the original documents, we will accept the photocopy of it with the official seal or signature from your university.
7． Undergraduate Degree Certification or Expected Graduation Certification of Undergraduate (Original only) If applicants cannot send the original documents, we will accept the photocopy of it with the official seal or signature from your university.
8． Receipt of Application Fee
9． Photocopy of TOEFL or IELTS Score Submit the photocopy of your scores for either the TOEFL PBT, iBT (No ITP) or IELTS.
10． Passport Copy Submit a photocopy of your passport.
11． [For International Applicants Residing in Japan only] Residence Certificate or Photocopy of Residence Card Submit a residence certificate, issued by city office within 3 months or a photocopy of residence card.
여기서 가장 중요한 GMAT을 요구하느냐와 영어점수는 구체적으로 얼마를 요구하는지를 살펴보아야 합니다. 위에서 설명드렸듯이 GMAT요구 조건은 없습니다. 그러므로 영어준비만 잘 한다면 교토대학교 MBA에 도전할 수가 있습니다.
*Regarding the TOEFL and/or IELTS Scores,
i. TOEFL: only the Official Score Record (with a photo) for TOEFL-PBT (Paper-Based Test) and
TOEFL-iBT (Internet-Based Test) scores will be accepted.
ii. IELTS: only the Test Report Form will be accepted.
iii. TOEIC scores will not be accepted for any reason.
iv. English proficiency levels with a minimum score of TOEFL-PBT: 550 points, TOEFL-iBT: 79-80
points, and IELTS: 6.0 points are desirable.
재미있는 것은 많은 일본MBA들이 영어조건으로 토익을 받아주는데 반하여 교토대학교 IPROMAC MBA는 토익을 받지 않습니다. 그러므로 영어준비는 토플 IBT, PBT, 또는 IELTS 6.0이상이면 됩니다. 다른 세계탑랭킹 MBA에서 요구하는 영어점수보다는 낮은 영어점수를 요구하기에 토플 IBT 79점이나 IELTS 6.0으로 만드시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 반달곰원장의 경험으로는 IELTS 6.0을 만드는 것이 좋을 것입니다.
입학지원을 해서 합격이 되면 아래와 같이 등록금과 학비는 아래와 같습니다. 2019년도 학비가 업데이트 되겠지만 아래의 학비를 참고하시길 바랍니다.
・Admission Fee: 282,000 Yen (tentative)
・Tuition: 267,900 Yen for the first semester (annual tuition: 535,800 Yen) (tentative)
