안녕하세요. 반달곰원장입니다.

오늘 소개할 대학은 1815년에 설립된 황실 종합기술교육 기관으로 설립되었으며, 유럽에서 독일어를 사용하는 유럽 국가에서 최초의 과학기술대학인 Vienna University of Technology로 TU Wien이라고도 불리는 빈공과대학입니다. 연구뿐만 아니라 교육 부문에서도 오스트리아 및 전 세계의 인정을 받는 기관으로 혁신에 집중된 기업들과 깊은 유대 관계를 맺고 있습니다. 8개의 단과대학으로 이루어졌는데, 다음의 Faculty에서 학사 및 대학원 프로그램을 제공하고 있습니다.

등 TU Wein은 공학 및 자연과학과 관련된 학위 과정을 제공하고 있습니다. TU Wein 대학은 학생들이 연구에 중심을 둔 혁신적인 교육을 받을 수 있도록 힘을 쓰고 있으며, 새로운 시대의 과학자를 배출하기 위한 높은 수준의 교육을 제공합니다. 다양한 범위의 학문을 배우게 되는데 보험통계이론부터 기술물리학까지 폭넓은 지식을 쌓을 수 있고, 또한, 박사과정도 제공하며, 고등학교 교원 자격도 주어집니다.

 

TU Wien에 지원하기 위해서는 고등학교 졸업 증명서나 대학학위가 필요하며, EU/EEA를 제외한 국제학생의 경우, 다음의 데드라인이 적용됩니다.

 - Winter학기 : 9월 5일까지

 - Summer 학기 : 2월 5일까지

빈 공과대학에 입학하기 위해서는 일반 대학 입학 자격이나 특별 전형의 대학입학 자격이 필요한데, 국제학생의 경우 후자와 독일 언어 실력을 충분히 증명해야 합니다. 빈공대에서도 독일어 능력이 CEFR B2이상으로 이게 입학 기준입니다. Special University Entrance Qualification이란 비 EU 학생들이 자신이 빈공대에서 선택한 학위 과정을 공부할 수 있는 자격을 얻는 기준으로 자신이 졸업한 고등학교나 대학이 있는 나라의 대학에서 이 전공을 공부해도 되는지 허락을 받아야 가능합니다. 이것을 Admission Statement라고 하며, 지난 포스팅에도 소개한 적이 있습니다. 이 Special University 입학 자격이 필요 없는 경우는 아래의 사항에 해당되어야 합니다.

• Citizens of EU and EEA countries with a proof of general university entrance qualification (independent of the country of issue);
• The centre of the vital interests of the applicant or the person obliged to provide maintenance for the applicant (i.e. exclusively a parent or spouse) has continuously been in Austria throughout the 5 years directly preceding the application. The centre of vital interests in Austria must be proven by submission of a registration certificate. Additionally, an insurance certificate, a work certificate, a wage tax card or similar document must be provided;
• The applicant or the person obliged to provide maintenance for the applicant enjoy diplomatic immunity in Austria (submission of the legitimisation card);
• The applicant is a refugee officially recognised in Austria pursuant to the Geneva Convention.
• The applicant has applied for asylum in Austria and asylum proceedings are pending. In this case, a validasylum card must be submitted;
• The applicant submits a secondary school leaving diploma issued by an Austrian school abroad (e.g. St. Georgs Kolleg in Istanbul);
• The applicant is a foreign journalist accredited and having his or her main occupation in Austria. This provision also includes the spouses and children of foreign journalists (submission of the accreditation document);
• The applicant has been granted a scholarship for the intended course of studies under provisions of a state treaty or, in the same amount, from those funds of an Austrian territorial authority that must, pursuant to the financial provisions of the relevant territorial authority, expressly be used for scholarships.

EU나 EEA의 시민권자라면 해당사항 없겠지만, 대한민국 국적의 학생인 경우에는 신청에 앞서 부모나 배우자가 오스트리아에 5년 동안 살고 있었다는 것을 증빙할 경우라면 특별 대학 입학 자격 서류 제출이 면제가 됩니다. 다른 사항에 혹시 적용되는 경우가 있는지 살펴보시기 바랍니다.

학비는 한 학기에 381.36 유로로 비EU 학생들은 744,22유로를 납부하게 되어 있는데, 여전히 대학 등록금으로는 저렴한 수준입니다 여기에 보험료가 포함된 학생회비로 한 학기에 19.2유로가 있습니다.

 

Bachelor Degree 과정에 지원하기 위해서는 다음의 서류를 준비해야 합니다.

 - Application Form

 - Proof of General University Entrance Qualification – 고등학교 졸업/성적증명

 - Proof of German Knowledge

 - Proof of Special University Entrance Qualification

 - 대학을 다닌 적이 있다면, 대학 성적/졸업 증명서

 - 여권사본

독일어를 사용하는 국가에서 고등학교를 졸업했다면 독일어 성적을 증빙하는 추가의 서류를 제출할 필요가 없습니다. 이 밖의 경우라면, B2 이상의 독일어 능력을 보여주는 서류를 제출해야 하며, 다음의 서류가 인정이 됩니다.

• Innovationszentrum Universität Wien GmbH – Niveau B2.2

• Zeugnis über die Absolvierung der Hochschulprüfung aus Deutsch (DSH II)

• Zeugnis der Wiener Internationalen Hochschulkurse (Kursstufe B2/2)

 

독일어는 하지만, 위의 서류가 아니라면, 입학에 앞서 빈공과대학 외부의 기관의 Non-degree 학생으로 독일어 시험을 봐야 합니다. 독일어 능력을 증명할 수 없는 경우라면, 먼저 Non-degree 프로그램에 입학해서 독일어 추가 시험을 보기 위한 준비를 할 수 있는 독일어 코스를 들어야 합니다. 다음의 독일어 코스를 들을 수 있는 학교가 있으니 참고하세요.

2017/2018년의 Winter 학기는 2017년 10월 1일에 시작되었으며, 2018년 1월 25일까지 진행됩니다. 2018년의 Summer 학기는 3월 1일부터 6월 30일까지로 그 다음 학기가 시작되기 전까지 긴 방학을 갖게 됩니다.
