유럽 프랑스의 세계적인 비즈니스스쿨인 HEC Paris의 2017년도 가을학기 입학지원일정과 입학조건을 알아보겠습니다. HEC Paris는 다른 비즈니스스쿨과는 다르게 1월과 9월 두번의 입학기회가 있습니다. 세계 탑랭킹 MBA스쿨들이 9월입학 한번만 있는 것과는 다릅니다. 그래도 HEC Paris는 Economist지에서 발표한 MBA랭킹에서 유럽에서 두번연속 1위를 차지하였습니다. 같은 프랑스의 명문MBA인 INSEAD 를 이겨낸 것이지요. 물론 파이넨셜타임지에서는 1위를 차지한 인시아드를 이기지는 못했지만 세계 15위라는 엄청난 성과를 보여주고 있습니다. 그야말로 프랑스MBA 대세시대가 온 것 같습니다.

위에서 보시면 아시겠지만 2017년 가을 입학을 위한 1라운드마감이 8월 15일입니다. 그 이후로 내년 6월까지 거의 매일 있습니다. 지원횟수가 많으므로 언제 지원할지를 잘 고르는 것도 중요합니다. 그럼 입학지원을 위한 준비서류를 안내해드리겠습니다.
- You must have completed an undergraduate program at an accredited university. We will require official academic transcripts as proof of this.
- The requirement of an undergraduate degree may be waived if:
- You can provide a certificate certifying that you have completed your secondary education. You must also have 5 years minimum of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- You are an athlete who has represented your country at a national level.
- You must have completed and submitted your online application form, which includes the following:
- Photo
- 2 Recommendations
- Professional resume in English
- Completed essay questions
- You must also include a copy of your passport or birth certificate.
- The ideal candidate has between 2 and 10 years of professional working experience (average for the Class of 2017 is 6 years)
- You must pay a non-refundable application fee - €200 -
GMAT / GRE
- GMAT: less than five years old,
- The average GMAT score for the class of 2017 is 690. We strongly encourage our candidates to submit a GMAT with balanced scores above 60% for the quantitative and verbal sections.
- GRE: Taken on or after August 1, 2011. We strongly encourage our candidates to submit a GRE score that is at or above the 65th percentile for the quantitative and verbal sections.
- You must complete the GMAT or GRE to be considered for admission. No other tests are accepted.
- Only official test scores will be accepted. Please use the codes listed above to have your scores sent to the HEC Paris Admissions team.
TOEFL / TOEIC / IELTS / PTE
- Non-native English speakers who do not hold a university degree from a university where English is the teaching language must complete one of the following: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), TOEIC, IELTS, PTE.
- Minimum TOEFL: 100 internet-based, 600 paper-based
- Minimum TOEIC: 340 Speaking & Writing and 850 Listening & Reading
- Minimum IELTS: 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 on each part of the test
- Minimum PTE: 72
- These results must be less than two years old
- English is the only language required for admission.
GMAT평균 점수가 690점인것이 좀 걸리지만 영어조건은 IBT 100, IELTS 7.0입니다. 탑 MBA로서는 많이 높은 것은 아닙니다. 이렇게 학교에서 요구하는 점수를 만들어서 원하는 라운드에 지원을 하면 됩니다. HEC Paris의 2017년 1월입학 학비는 56000유로입니다. 지금한국의 원화가 강세이기에 학비가 한화로 7천만원이 안됩니다. 웬만한 미국의 탑랭킹MBA보다 훨씬 저렴합니다. 그러므로 HEC Paris MBA를 지원하기에 매우 좋은 시기입니다.
