영국의 명문대학교 University of Warwick의 Warwick Business School은 항상 영국MBA 랭킹에서 탑랭킹을 유지할 뿐만 아니라 전세계MBA랭킹에서도 탑랭킹을 유지하고 있는 전통의 명문 비즈니스스쿨입니다. 오늘은 반달곰원장이 바로 Warwick MBA에 대해서 말씀을 드리고자 합니다. 영국의 TOP MBA들이 그러하듯이 Warwick MBA도 세계적인 인증기관인 AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS 의 인증을 모두 받았습니다. 그리고 우리나라 직장인들이 관심을 가지고 있는 랭킹면에서도 눈에 띄는 사항들이 있기에 아래에서 같이 공유하겠습니다.
이번에 발표된 Economist 지의 MBA 랭킹에서 Warwick MBA는 영국에서 넘버1을 차지하였습니다. Said MBA, LBS MBA, Judge MBA등을 모두 누르고 1위를 차지한 것입니다. Warwick비즈니스스쿨에서 보면 정말 경사가 아닐 수 없습니다. 그러나 비단 Economist지에서 뿐만 아니라 파이내셜타임지와 Forbes 등지에서도 좋은 랭킹을 유지하고 있습니다. 그럼 그 랭킹 사펴보면 아래와 같습니다.

대표적인 랭킹기관인 파이낸셜타임지에서는 영국에서 6위, 전세계에서 탑 40위로 선정되었습니다. 그리고 요즘 관심을 많이 보이고 있는 Distance learning분야에서는 영국ㅇ서 1위 전세계에서 2위를 차지하였습니다. 온라인MBA 프로그램을 매우 잘하고 있는 것입니다. 또한 반달곰원장이 전문으로 컨설팅하고 있는 Executive MBA랭킹에서도 영국에서 3위 전세계에서 25위를 차지하였습니다. 외와 같이 MBA프로그램에서 탑 랭킹을 유지하고 있는 것이 바로 영국의 Warwick MBA입니다. 그리고 이코노미스트와 포브스에서 발푠한 랭킹을 보면 아래와 같습니다.

이렇게 세계적인 탑랭킹의 영국MBA인 Warwicjk MBA를 지원하기 위한 지원일정과 입학지원 조건을 살펴보도록 하겠습니다. 먼저 입학지원 데드라인을 알려드리면 아래와 같습니다.
We accept applications on a rolling basis but you should ideally apply earlier than the following deadlines in order for your application to be processed in time for your preferred intake.
Full-time MBA:
31 July, but if you require accommodation on campus you should apply no later than 31 May in order for us to process your application before the accommodation application deadline.
If you require a visa we also recommend that you apply by 31 May, to allow time to process your course application and for you to apply for your visa.
입학지원을 롤링베이스로 받고 있지만 우리는 외국인학생이고 비자를 받아야 하므로 늦어도 5월 31일까지는 지원을 해야 합니다. 그리고 학교안에 숙소를 얻고자 하는 학생들도 5월 31일 이전에는 입학지원을 해야 합니다. 그래서 비자수속하고 영국으로 들어가면 됩니다.
입학지원에 필요한 서류와 조건들은 아래와 같습니다.
Entry requirements (full time study)
- A good honours degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least three years post-graduate work experience in a business related or managerial role.
- GMAT result. The minimum GMAT score is 650 and the Selection Committee are looking for a good, well balanced score. All full time applicants must take the GMAT and there are no exemptions. However if you do have concerns about taking the GMAT please contact us.
- A high level of proficiency in English. If English is not your first language you will be required to take a language test such as IELTS, PTE Academic, CAE or CPE.
- IELTS 7.0 - all four language components have to be scored 6.0+, with maximum of two components at lowest level 6.0 or 6.5
- PTE Academic 70 - with 51+ in every section
- CPE Grade C (CEFR level C2) or above
- CAE Grade C - scoring 60+, no worse than 3 component results at borderline and 1 at weak
- TOEFL 100 – minimum component scores L21, R22, W21, S23
입학지원조건이 쉬운 것은 아닙니다. GMAT 650점이상, 그리고 IBT 100점, IELTS 7.0이상을 요구하고 있습니다. GMAT대신에 Warwick 자체시험을 대신할 수도 있습니다. 그리고 영어는 University of Warwick 의 영어ESL과정이 있으나 조건부입학은 없기에 반드시 Warwick MBA가 요구하는 영어점수를 만들어서 제출해야 합니다.
