오늘 UC Riverside의 어학연수 프로그램을 올려드렸습니다. 그런데 UC Riverside Extension에는 ESL프로그램뿐만 아니라 비즈니스 전문연수 프로그램인 Postgraduate Certificate in Management(PGCM) 이 매우 유명합니다. 이 프로그램은 원래 12주로 구성되어 있습니다. 그런데 12주의 구성은 2주 짜리 모듈이 6개로 구성되어 있는 것으로써 12주 3개월 과정으로 들어도 되고 2주짜리 모듈로 신청해서 수강해도 가능합니다. 일단은 UC Riverside PGCM의 전반적인 설명을 드리도록 하겠습니다.

UC Riverside PGCM에 들어가기 위한 입학조건은 어떻게 되는지 알아보겠습니다.

 

• Advanced English required: minimum of TOEFL 550 PBT, 80 iBT; IELTS 6.5 or equivalent(옛날엔 토익을 받았으나 지금은 토플과 IELTS만 받고 있습니다)
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of academic and management experience) required(학사학위)
• No GMAT or management experience required(GMAT은 필요하지 않습니다)

직장인들에게는 매우 필수적인 과정인 HRM, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Strategy 가 다 들어가 있습니다. 이렇게 2주간격으로 한과정씩을 마무리하면서 다른 과정으로 넘어가게됩니다. 중간에 잠깐의 휴식시간등이 있어서 12간의 시간이 소요됩니다. 그런데 정말 시간이 없는 직장인이거나 회사에서 지원해주는 기간이 한달정도밖에 안될 경우에는 2주 짜리 모듈을 두개 하면 한달을 만들수 있습니다. 이렇게 최소 2주에서 최장 12주까지 공부할 수 있는 과정이 바로 PGCM 과정입니다.
