코로나 팬데믹으로 인해 내년 2022년 MBA 입학전형에서 GMAT이나 GRE 시험 성적 제출을 면제해주는 비즈니스 스쿨이 여럿 있습니다. 그 중에서 미국 서부지역의 명문대학인 UC Davis의 비즈니스 스쿨인 Graduate School of Management (GSM)에서도 몇 가지 조건 중 하나만 충족해도 이 시험 성적을 제출하지 않아도 됩니다.
조건은 학부 성적이 좋을 것(특히 정량적인 과목에서의 GPA가 높을 것), 대학원 학위나 CPA 혹은 CFA 자격증 소지자일 경우, 풍부한 직장 경력, 병역 등 다음의 조건에서 하나에 해당된다면, 제출 면제를 요청할 수 있습니다.
- Undergraduate degree from a U.S. institution with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher (or the equivalent if another grading scale is used) in a quantitative area including: business administration, economics, engineering, biological sciences, information and computer science, health sciences or physical sciences.
- Graduate (master’s or doctoral) degree or professional credential such as Certified Public Accountant or Certified Financial Analyst.
- Five or more years of professional work experience after completing undergraduate degree.
- Four or more years of military experience.
- Hardship due to COVID19 pandemic where BOTH of the following criteria below are met:
(i) unable to take the GMAT/GRE test in-person due at a designated testing center because of the lack of availability in the designated region or you and/or someone in your household is immunocompromised AND
(ii) unable to take the exam online due to lack of test or technology availability in your region or impacts due to unavailability of other test-taking requirements, including device availability or compatibility issues, internet connectivity issues, or poor testing requirements or environments.
만약, GMAT/GRE 면제로 입학허가를 받아 등록한 학생의 경우 코스 시작 전에 경영대학원에서 제공하는 ‘Math Camp’를 반드시 참가해서 이수해야 합니다. 이 조건이 있으니 GMAT/GRE 웨이버 신청에 신중하시기 바랍니다.

풀타임 MBA는 72학점을 이수해야 하며, 캘리포니아 거주자의 경우 2021년 가을학기 기준으로 전체 학비는 $85,698이었고, 비거주자의 경우 $110188이었습니다.
