오늘은 비즈니스스쿨에 대해서 계속 안내를 드립니다. 좀전에 미국 탑랭킹MBA를 목표하시는 멋진 젊은 커리어 우먼을 만나서 상담을 해드렸습니다. 묵묵히 자신의 목표를 위해서 준비해 나가는 모습이 매우 인상적이더군요. 콜롬비아대학교 1월 시작하는 Jterm을 목표로하는데 반달곰원장이 도움을 줄 수 있는 기회가 있으면 하는 마음입니다.
지금 미국 서부의 UC Davis로 넘어갑니다. 소리없이 실력있는 명문MBA를 제공하는 UC Davis Graduate School of Management에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다. UC Davis 비즈니스스쿨이 대표적으로 자랑하는 랭킹은 US News 랭킹인데 22년동안 탑 50위를 계속적으로 유지해왔다는 것입니다. 정말 22년간 탑 50위를 유지한다는 것은 대단한 것 같습니다. 이런 UC Davis Graduate School of Management가 UC Davis MBA를 원하는 한국 후보자를 만나러 한국에 옵니다.

총 4라운드 지원을 하는데 1라운드 마감은 10월 11일입니다. 그리고 2라운드 마감은 11월 29일이며, 3라운드는 2월 14일에 마감을 합니다. 마지막 라운드 마감일은 4월 18일이니 잘 준비하시길 바랍니다.
To complete your application, you’ll need the materials listed below.

· Résumé
· Two professional recommendations
· One essay & one personal introduction
· Transcripts (unofficial for admission, official for enrollment)
· GMAT or GRE General Test
· TOEFL / IELTS (For international, non-native English speaking applicants)
· $125 application fee
GMAT점수는 최저점수는 없으나 합격생의 80%가 630-730점 사이입니다. 그리고 GMAT median은 680점입니다. 그러니 UC Davis MBA에 지원하기 위해서는 680점도는 만들어야 가능할 것입니다. 그리고 영어는 IBT 100, CBT 250, PBT 600, IELTS는 7.0이상을 요구하고 있습니다. 그러면 가장 중요한 에세이질문을 살펴보고 학비를 확인한 후에 마무리를 하겠습니다.
Essay
Each essay should be typed, double-spaced, using a 12-point font.
1) Professional Goal: Our most successful MBAs can articulate their professional aspirations. In up to 300 words, describe your post-MBA role and how you will make it happen. (300 word maximum)
2) Personal Introduction: Introduce yourself to your future UC Davis MBA classmates, through one of the following methods:
· An introductory live tweet (save & upload your tweet as a txt or pdf file) – make it live and use #ucdavismba
· A Vine video (save & upload the web link to your Vine video as a txt or pdf file)
· A Two-minute YouTube Video (save & upload the web link onto a pdf file)

3) Is there any other information about your background, family or experience that you would like to share with the Admissions Committee? If you have overcome a specific challenge, please share this in the optional essay.
Additionally, if your undergraduate grade point average is below a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent if not on a 4.0 scale), please provide additional information about other factors that may have affected your performance. (250 word maximum)
