안녕하세요, 반달곰원장입니다.
정말 오랜만에 영국 런던의 최고 비즈니스스쿨인 London Business School에 대해서 말씀드리기 위해서 글을 올립니다. 반달곰원장이 두번이나 LBS 를 방문했고 기업스폰을 받은 직장인의 LBS MBA 입학을 도와주었는데 반달곰원장이 너무나 소원했네요. LBS는 영국에서는 물론 유럽에서도 드물게 1년이상의 장기간의 MBA프로그램을 제공 하고 있습니다.
스페인 IESE MBA가 19개월, 15개월 장기 MBA를 제공하는데 영국 런던 LBS MBA는 15개월, 18개월, 21개월 MBA를 제공하고 있어서 회사에서 스폰 받는 분들은 바로 LBS MBA와 IESE MBA를 선호하고 있습니다. 그럼 2020년도 8월에 시작하는 과정을 시작하는 LBS MBA 입학지원에 대해서 알아보도록 하겠습니다. 먼저 입학지원일정을 살펴보겠습니다.

라운드 1의 마감일은 9월 13일입니다. 라운드 2는 1월 3일, 라운드 3의 마감일은 3월 5일이고 마지막 라운드 4의 마감일은 4월 22일입니다. 영국의 탑랭킹 MBA들은 모두 9월부터 입학지원을 받으므로 LBS MBA, Judge MBA, Said MBA 에 지원하고자 하는 분들은 아래의 입학지원조건을 만드시길 바라겠습니다.

영국MBA들은 직장경력 2년이상을 요구하는데 LBS MBA도 마찬가지입니다. 한장짜리 영문이력서와 두명의 추천인이 필요합니다. 그리고 에세이의 질문은 두개인데 아래와 같습니다.
What are your post-MBA goals and how will your prior experience and the London Business School programme contribute towards these? (500 words)
Is there any other information you believe the Admissions Committee should know about you and your application to London Business School? (Optional) (500 words)
그리고 GMAT과 GRE의 점수를 받는데 GMAT점수는 최소 600점이상이어야 합니다. 학생들의 GMAT점수 범위는 600-800점 사이입니다. 평균GMAT점수는 707점입니다. 입학지원할 때 공식점수를 같이 제출해야 합니다. 영어는 IBT, IELTS PTE등을 모두 받는데 구제적으로 점수를 요구하지는 않습니다.
LBS MBA의 한해 입학하는 학생은 485명으로 상당히 많은 인원을 받고 있습니다. 여학생의 비율은 40%이고 총 60개국에서 외국 학생들이 입학을 하였습니다. 평균 직장경력은 5.5이고 최소 2년에서 최장 15년까지 다양합니다. LBS MBA가 유명한 이유중의 또 하나는 학비가 매우 비싸다는 것입니다. 82000파운드로 캠브리지MBA나 옥스포드MBA보다도 훨씬 비쌉니다.
그러므로 매우 신중하게 고민하고 결정하고 준비를 해야 합니다. LBS MBA가 9월에 한국을 찾아 방문하는데 입학설명회의 일정과 참가신청은 아래를 참고하여 참가하시길 바라겠습니다.
