영어 과정은 4주의 단기과정부터 1년 이상의 장기간 과정까지 학습 목표에 따라 대학준비, 연구과정, 청소년 과정과 전문자격 과정 등이 개설 운영되고 있습니다.

이런 온라인 학습의 전문 자격 과정에는 Accounting Principles, Accounting Specialist, Sensory and Consumer Science, Brewing, Construction Management, Cyber Security, Early Start Denver Model, Healthcare Analytics, Project Management, Technology and Information Management, Winemaking 등이 있습니다.
온라인보다는 UC Davis 캠퍼스에서 제공하는 대면 수업에 참여하고 싶다면, 영어 및 대학 진학 프로그램을 선택해야 하는데요. 단기 과정으로 제공되어 과학 및 기술을 위한 영어를 배울 수 있는 과정이 있어 소개하겠습니다. UC Davis에서는 English for Science and Technology로 4주로 진행되는 단기 영어 과정이 있습니다. 학생들은 자신의 기술적인 영어 언어 스킬을 향상시키면서 동시에 과학 및 기술 분야에서 좀더 자신 있게 영어를 사용하는 방법을 배웁니다.
이 프로그램은 또한 국제 학생이 기업가 정신은 무엇인지에 대해서 이해할 수 있도록 돕고 있습니다. 과학, 엔지니어링이나 기술 관련 전공의 학부 및 대학원의 유학생과 자신의 기술적인 영어 언어 능력을 향상시키기를 원하는 직장인을 위해 고안된 과정입니다.

이 4주의 과정은 최신식의 국제 센터에서 열리며, 1년에 여름과 겨울에 두 번 열리고 있습니다. 주당 16시간의 지도와 워크숍과, 현장방문, 게스트 발표와 같은 기타 과외활동 및 사회 활동으로 구성되어 있습니다. 학생들은 최고의 학습 경험을 할 수 있도록 자신의 영어실력에 따라 그룹으로 나눠 수업을 받습니다.
- Visits to UC Davis campus laboratories and regional high-tech companies
- Small classes (about 15-20 students)
- Highly qualified and experienced instructors
- Technology-driven classrooms, including a multimedia learning center
- Daily recreational, cultural and social activities with UC Davis student leaders
- Optional weekend trips may include Napa Valley, Yosemite National Park, San Francisco and Los Angeles
- No F-1 Visa required

• Realize the power of R & D (i.e., research and development) in science and technology through studying entrepreneurship • Feel the spirit of entrepreneurship that has advanced science and technology and changed the way people live in recent years • Think flexibly about your future career choices • Enhance understanding of mandatory extracurricular activities such as site visits, presentations and/or workshops |
