University of Notre Dame은 미국 인디애나주의 노터데임이라는 도시에 위치한 종합 사립의 명문대학으로 1842년에 설립되었습니다.

2019년 신입생의 클래스 프로파일을 통해 노터데임 대학의 입학이 어느 정도로 어려운지 가늠해 볼 수 있을텐데요. 신입생 38%가 고등학교 때 자신의 학급에서 상위 1%에 속했던 우수한 학생이라고 하며, 평균 SAT 점수는 1410-1540이었고, 50%의 학생은 음악, 드라마, 순수미술과 무용과 관련이 있었다고 합니다.
내년 가을학기 입학을 위한 입학 신청은 이미 8월 1일부터 시작이 되었고, 첫 번째 입학 신청 마감이 오는 11월 1일에 있습니다. Early Action과Regular Decision의 입학신청 마감일은 아래와 같습니다.

노토데임대학에 신입생으로 지원하려면, Common Application 혹은Coalition Application을 통해야 하며, Questbridge Application의 파트너 대학으로 대학 매치 프로그램을 통해 신청할 수 있습니다.
입학 신청에 필요한 서류로 Common이나 Coalition Application을 통한 온라인 지원서 이외에 다음의 준비물이 필요합니다.
- The Notre Dame Writing Supplement, submitted via the Common Application or Coalition Application.
- Official high school transcripts or record of academic achievement in secondary school. Note: Restrictive Early Action applicants are encouraged to submit an optional summary or progress report of first quarter or first trimester performance via their applicant status portal.
- A letter of evaluation from a high school teacher in a core academic subject area who knows you well
- Counselor evaluation (recommended, not required)
- Optional: Results of your ACT or SAT assessment scores - Notre Dame is test-optional for 2020. Students may choose whether or not to include test scores when submitting their applications.
- A non-refundable application fee of $75

The University of Notre Dame will revise its application requirements for the Class of 2025 as part of a one-year pilot program with the option of expanding to future terms.
First-year and transfer applicants will not be required to submit standardized test scores as part of their application for undergraduate admission. The test-optional pilot reflects conversations that leaders of Notre Dame’s admissions, scholarship, and financial aid community have been conducting for a number of years.
