안녕하세요, 반달곰원장입니다.
코로나19 바이러스로 인하여 전세계는 국내에서 이동을 금지시키는 등 코로나를 잡기 위해서 안간힘을 쓰고 있습니다. 이탈리아가 가장 고생을 하고 있는데 오늘도 전날 대비 889명의 사망자가 나와서 전체 사망자 수가 1만 23을 기록했다고 합니다. 어제는 하루동안 969명이 사망하여 역대 최다를 기록 하였습니다.
그런데 이탈리아 뿐만 아니라 스페인도 큰 일이 났네요. 전날보다 사망자수가 838명이 늘었습니다. 확진자수는 하루만에 6549명이 늘어서 총 7만 8천 797명이 되었습니다. 반달곰원장이 1월에 스페인 출장을 다녀왔었는데 정말 걱정이 많이 됩니다. 이탈리아, 스페인 등 반달곰원장의 학교 파트너와 친구들이 많기에 걱정이 이만 저만이 아닙니다. 제발 무사히 이 위기를 이겨내기를 기원합니다.
오늘도 몇 개 대학교의 입학지원일정과 입학조건을 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.
Dartmouth College
Tuck School Of Business:
To accommodate all applicants, Tuck will maintain our Round 3 deadline of March 30, and we will also allow applications on a rolling basis thereafter in a one-time Round 4 for those who need additional time. You can submit a Round 4 application on a rolling basis from April 1 to June 1. We’ll return decisions on a rolling basis — as soon as possible, and typically within several weeks — from May 11 to July 1.
아이비리그의 명문대학교 Dartmouth College 의 Tuck MBA는 3라운드 마감일인 3월 30일 이후에도 롤링 베이스로 입학지원서를 받겠다고 밝혔습니다. 그래서 4월 1일부터 6월 1일까지의 4라운드 지원일정에 맞추어서 입학지원을 할 수가 있습니다.
Emory University
Goizueta Business School:
Emory University’s Goizueta Business School has extended the application deadline for its one-Year MBA to April 15, 2020 and its Two-Year MBA to July 1, 2020. Application fees will be waived for the remainder of the application cycle for candidates applying for a fall 2020 start. Scholarship funds are available in each MBA, and Goizueta will evaluate additional scholarship support for admitted students who face unexpected interruption to their income prior to starting their studies. 오랜만에 에모리대학교 Goizueta MBA에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다. Emory Goizueta MBA에는 1년MBA와 2년MBA가 있는데 1년MBA는 지원마감을 4월 15일로, 2년 풀타임 MBA는 7월 1일까지로 지원마감을 연기합니다. 그리고 지원서비는 면제를 해준다고 합니다. 그리고 유례없는 사태로 학비 조달에 어려움을 겪는 학생들에게 특별한 장학금을 제공한다고 하니 잘 알아보시길 바라겠습니다.

Candidates can now also apply with the GMAC Essential Skills test, as a replacement for the GMAT or GRE. We encourage those without a GMAT or GRE score to look into this flexible online alternative. You can submit your application prior to submitting test scores. 오늘의 마지막 학교는 뉴욕에 있는 포담대학교의 Gabelli MBA에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다. 미국에서 가장 큰 피해를 입고 있는 뉴욕주에 위치해 있는 Fordham University Gabelli MBA는 마찬가지로 입학지원일정을 연기하였고, GMAT/GRE면제 정책을 너 폭넓게 적용한다고 합니다. 그리고 5라운드 입학지원을 생각하는 분들에게는 입학지원서비를 면제 해준다고 합니다.
