어제는 토요일이었지만 상담이 두건 있어서 출근을 하였습니다. 그중의 한분이 영국MBA에 대해서 관심이 있어서 상담을 원하셨는데 과거에 GMAT준비를 하다가 점수가 잘 안나와서 GMAT없이 갈 수 있는 영국의 탑랭킹MBA를 문의하고 그 MBA들중에서 본인에게 가장 잘 맞을 MBA는 어디일지를 문의하기 위해서 방문했었습니다.

Lack of formal qualifications is not necessarily a barrier to admission; managerial experience is also a key consideration for entry to our Full-time MBA programme. In such cases, we may ask you to submit a portfolio of evidence demonstrating capability in areas such as your management experience, including critical thinking skills and communication skills. Alternatively you may be required to provide a well-balanced GMAT score of a minimum of 600 (Durham GMAT code: BBB-W0-80). |

Candidates who will be attending an interview/assessment day in person on-campus in Manchester can request the option to take the Manchester Admissions Test, instead of GMAT or GRE. This request will be granted at the discretion of the MBA Admissions Committee. |

If you do not meet the minimum academic requirement, we may require you to complete the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) which is an internationally-recognised assessment of analytical, numerical and verbal reasoning. If we require you to take GMAT, we would require a score of 600 as a minimum to qualify for our MBA or Executive MBA. The GMAT is not a compulsory part of the application process, but if you have a score that you wish to report to us then this would be welcomed. |

위에서 볼 수 있듯이 영국의 탑랭킹인 더럼MBA, 랭카스터MBA, 버밍엄, 바쓰, 버밍엄MBA등이 GMAT없이도 입학지원과 합격이 가능합니다. 그리고 맨체스터MBA는 GMAT대신에 자체시험을 보고 통과하면 합격할 수 있기에 맨체스터도 GMAT이 꼭 필요한 것은 아닙니다.
