오늘은 미국 중부의 명문주립대학교 University of Michigan Ross MBA에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다. 꾸준하게 미국 탑10수준의 랭킹을 유지하고 있는 Ross MBA는 위의 그림위에 표현하고 있는 것처럼 The Economist지에서 전체 7위까지 기록할 때도 있습니다. 바로 이런 훌륭한 Ross MBA의 입학지원일정과 조건에 대해서 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
먼저 2020년도 입학지원 일정을 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.
Round 1 DEADLINE: September 30, 2019 DECISION: December 18, 2019
Round 2 DEADLINE: January 6, 2020 DECISION: March 18, 2020
Round 3 DEADLINE: March 30, 2020 DECISION: May 8, 2020
라운드1의 마감일은 9월 30일입니다. 그리고 라운드2의 마감일이 1월 6일, 마지막 라운드 3의 마감일은 3월 30일입니다. 이 일정에 맞춰서 준비해야할 입학지원조건은 아래와 같습니다.

조건중에서 참고할 사항을 안내하면 GMAT, GRE 를 옵로드할 때는 비공식점수를 올려도 됩니다. 그리고 최종적으로 합격하면 공식점수를 제출해야 합니다. 영문이력서는 1페이지안에서 작성을 해야 합니다. 구구절절 많이 쓰는 것이 중요한 것이 아니라 잘 정리하여 한 페이지안에 잘 정리하는 것이 중요합니다. 그리고 Ross MBA의 에세이 질문은 아래와 같습니다.

Part 2: Career Goal Essay

추천서는 한부만을 원하고 있고 추천서에서 요구하는 질문들은 아래와 같습니다.
Please provide a brief description of your interaction with the applicant and, if applicable, the applicant's role in your organization. (50 words)
How does the performance of the applicant compare to that of other well-qualified individuals in similar roles? (E.g., what are the applicant's principal strengths?) (500 words)
Describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant’s response. (500 words)
외국학생들은 영어점수를 만들어야 하는데 공식적으로는 IBT와 PTE만을 받습니다. IELTS는 학교에 문의해서 확인을 받아야 합니다. 위의 입학조건 중에서 가장 신경써야 할 것은 역시 GMAT입니다. Ross MBA학생들의 평균 GMAT점수는 720점으로 상당히 높습니다. 그래서 점수를 잘 만들어야 합니다. 그럼 Ross MBA의 Class profile을 살펴보겠습니다.
Ross MBA 학생의 수는 423명입니다. 그중의 43%는 여학생입니다. 평균 GPA는 3.5이고, 국제학생의 비율은 32%입니다. 평균 직장경력은 5년입니다. 평균 GMAT점수가 720점이라고 했는데 학생의 80%는 680-760점사이의 점수를 가지고 있습니다. GRE 평균Quat점수는 159, verbal점수는 161점입니다. 그래서 GMAT이 어렵다면 GRE로 준비하셔도 됩니다.
