오늘은 반달곰원장이 미국의 탑어브더 탑인 스탠포드대학교 GSB MBA에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다. 하버드MBA와는 다르게 2020년도 입학을 위한 지원일정을 오픈하지 않았던 스탠포드대학교 MBA가 입학지원일정을 오픈하였습니다. 먼저 2020년도 application deadline에 대해서 먼저 알려드리겠습니다.

위에서 살펴보면 라운드1의 지원 마감일은 9월 12일입니다. 하버드보다 항상 일주일정도가 늦습니다. 라운드 2의 마감일은 1월 9일입니다. 그리고 하버드MBA와는 다르게 라운드 3까지 지원을 받는데 4월 8일에 마감을 합니다. 하버드는 총 라운드 2번의 지원으로 마무리를 하는데 스탠포드는 3번의 지원 라운드를 제공합니다.

위의 입학조건을 살펴보겠습니다. 스탠포드에서는 GMAT과 GRE점수를 둘 다 받고 있습니다. 그리고 영어에 대한 조건은 다른 탑스쿨과 같은 IBT 100, IWLTS 7.0이상이면 됩니다.

그리고 스탠포드MBA는 직장경력을 의무로 하지는 않습니다. 그러므로 직장경력이 없는 분들도 입학지원이 가능합니다. 추천서는 직장 상사한테 두부를 받으면 됩니다. 다음은 에세이 질문에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다. 질문이 그렇게 많은 것은 아닌데 에세이작성에 대해서 주체적으로 안내를 하고 있습니다.
Essay Questions
We request that you write two personal essays.
In each essay, we want to hear your genuine voice. Think carefully about your values, passions, aims, and dreams. There is no “right answer” to these questions—the best answer is the one that is truest for you.
Essay A: What matters most to you, and why?
For this essay, we would like you to reflect deeply and write from the heart. once you’ve identified what matters most to you, help us understand why. You might consider, for example, what makes this so important to you? What people, insights, or experiences have shaped your perspectives?
Essay B: Why Stanford?
Describe your aspirations and how your Stanford GSB experience will help you realize them. If you are applying to both the MBA and MSx programs, use Essay B to address your interest in both programs.
Length
Both essays combined may not exceed 1,150 words. We recommend up to 750 words for Essay A and up to 400 words for Essay B. We often find effective essays written in far fewer words.

위와 같은 기본적인 조건을 준비하시길 바랍니다. 그럼 어떤 학생들이 입학을 하고 있는지 학생들을 살펴보도록 하겠습니다. 2020년도 졸압할 학생의 수는 419명입니다. 총 7797명이 지원하였다고 하니 합격율은 약 5%가 좀 넘습니다.여학생의 비율은 41프로, 국제학생의 비율은 42프로입니다. 평균 직장경력은 약 4년입니다. 그리고 합격생들의 GMAT, GRE, IET성적과 평균 점수는 아래와 같습니다.
