오늘 소개할 Lodz University of Technology는 1945년에 설립된 폴란드에서 가장 큰 기술대학 중 하나입니다. 원래는 오래된 공장 빌딩에 자리잡은 학교로 시작했으나 오늘날은 20만 평방미터가 넘는 캠퍼스에 70개 이상의 빌딩으로 채워져 있습니다. 현재 16,000명 이상의 학생이 재학 중인 대학으로 3천명이 넘는 교수진이 교육과 과학 업무를 수행하고 있습니다.
Lodz 기술대학은 Perspektywy 매거진의 대학 랭킹의 폴란드내 Top 10에 이름을 올리는 Lodz 지역의 유일한 대학으로 Best Technical University카테고리에서 6위를 차지하고 있습니다.

컴퓨터 과학의 경우 학부와 석사 과정 모두에서 제공되는 것이 확인이 됩니다. 이 전공 프로그램에 대해서 좀 더 자세히 살펴보겠습니다.
학사 학위 과정은 Computer Science는 파트 타임 혹은 풀타임 과정으로 제공되는데요. 총 7학기로 구성되어 있습니다. 6학기 째에 파트너 대학에서 선택 과목을 들을 수 있습니다.
졸업생은 국가의 지속 가능한 발전의 문제점과 전자적인 형태로 정보처리, 보관, 전송 및 보완과 관련된 문제가 점차 커지는 역할을 이해하게 됩니다. 프로그램은 평생 학습할 수 있는 준비, IT 분야 및 관련 분야의 전문가와의 의견 및 토론을 정리한 것을 망라하고 있습니다.
정보 기술을 이용하고 실시하는 기업에서 일하는데 필요한 일반적인 지식과 기술을 얻게 되며, 지방 정부(시, 구, 지역)의 책임하에 사용되는 정보 기술 관련 문제를 해결하기 위한 지식과 기술도 보유하게 됩니다.
조직과 관련된 직책과 대규모 학제간의 업무 참여 등 컴퓨터 과학 및 관련 분야의 업무를 맡을 준비를 하는 동시에 자신의 사업을 위한 경제학의 기본도 배웁니다.
입학 지원에 필요한 서류는 아래와 같습니다.
- Application Form (printed from an online application and signed by the home university),
- Transcript of Records (issued by the home university),
- Application form for the double diploma programme (obtained form the International Office of the IFE),
- Document confirming completion of secondary education (in the case of application for first and second-cycle studies) and a document confirming obtaining a bachelor’s degree abroad (in the case of application for second-cycle studies,
- Document confirming the knowledge of the language of instruction at the host university,
- Your current photo must be in compliance with the requirements for the issuance of an ID card,
- Copy of your passport and ID card,
- Copy of health insurance card valid in Poland for your entire stay,
- Copy of civil liability insurance and personal accident insurance cards valid in Poland for your entire stay.
Lodz 기술대학의 컴퓨터 석사 프로그램은 Computer Science and Information Technology로 4학기 동안 진행됩니다. 2018/2019학년도의 겨울 학기에 배우게 되는 과목의 스케줄은 아래와 같습니다.
강의와 프로젝트, 실험, 영어 교습 등 일주일을 꽉찬 스케줄로 보내게 됩니다.
입학에 필요한 조건으로 대학 졸업 이상으로 수학, 물리학 혹은 화학과 영어에 높은 실력을 갖춰야 합니다. 한 학기의 학비는 2,000유로입니다.
- Application Form (printed from recruitment website) with the signature,
- First Degree studies diploma, which allows to undertake Second Degree studies (apostille),
- Notarized translation of the diploma into Polish or English. Additionally, in case of foreigners covered by the provisions of nostrification, the certificate/diploma must be translated by the Sworn Translator inscribed in the list of Sworn Translators.
- Copy of visa or residence card, or another document allowing for legal stay in Poland (if has been already issued),
- Two passport-size photos,
- Medical certificate stating capability of commencing studies for a certain field of studies - in Polish or English (example),
- Proof of the tuition fee payment for the first semester of studies,
- Health insurance, valid in Poland,
영어 점수는 B2 이상의 실력으로 TOEFL은 87점 이상, IELTS로는 6.0 이상의 점수를 갖춰야 합니다. TOEIC 점수도 제출이 가능한데요. 최소한 700점 이상이라면, 지원해 볼 수 있습니다.
교육과 연구의 국제화는 Lodz 기술 대학의 강점 중 하나로 거의 25년 동안 International Faculty of Engineering에서10개가 넘는 기술 부분의 학위 과정이 영어로 진행되고 있으며, 한 개의 기술 분야에서 불어의 학위 과정을 제공하고 있습니다. 현재 대학에는 400명이 넘는 외국 학생이 등록되었으며, Lodz기술대학과 프랑스, 네덜란드, 영국, 덴마크, 중국, 우크라이나 혹은 스페인의 여러 파트너 대학과의 복수 전공의 학위를 취득할 수 있는 기회도 있습니다.
