이번에 반달곰원장이 노틀담대학교 Medonza MBA에 입학하는 분을 도와드렸습니다. 옛날에 반달곰원장의 사무실을 방문하여 상담을 받은 후에 노틀담MBA중에서 1년MBA를 지원하였고 MBA와 함께 복수학위 프로그램으로 MS in Business Analytics MSBA를 같이 하게된 것입니다. 노틀담대학교 Mendoza MSBA도 1년 12개월 석사과정인데 그 두개를 하기에는 15개월이면 됩니다.
그리고 학비도 3000달러 정도 더 내면 될 정도로 정말 좋은 조건인데 미국의 탑20안에 드는 명문대학교 노틀담 멘도자 비즈니스스쿨은 훌륭한 학생들에게 장학금을 제공하고 있기에 충분히 도전해볼 만 합니다. 물론 그런 장학금을 받기 위해서는 좋은 GMAT점수를 만들어야 합니다. 노틀담대학교 Mendoza MBA는 탑랭킹 MBA임에도 불구하고 한국학생들의 지원은 많은 편이 아닙니다. 지원자가 많이 않다는 것은 그만큼 한국지원자가 합격될 가능성과 장학금을 받을 가능성이 높다는 것을 의미합니다.

얼리라운드 마감일은 9월 19일입니다. 보통 하버드MBA1라운드 마감일이 다른 탑스쿨들에게는 얼리라운드 마감일입니다. 정식 1라운드 마감일은 10월 17일이고, 2라운드 마감일은 1월 9일입니다. 그리고 3라운드 마감일은 2월 20일이고 마지막 라운드 마감일은 3월 17일입니다. 정신없이 지원 라운드가 다가옵니다.

Cardinal O'Hara established the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame in 1921, recognizing that "the primary function of commerce is service to mankind." As the world economy continues to grow and change, how do you see business positively impacting the world?

The University of Notre Dame was founded in 1842, by Father Edward Sorin, C.S.C, with a mission to become “one of the most powerful means for doing good in this country”. In 1879, Father Sorin's vision for Notre Dame appeared to be at a sudden, abrupt end. A massive fire destroyed the building that housed virtually the entire University. Instead of giving up, Father Sorin interpreted the fire as a sign that he had dreamed too small, and decided to rebuild, bigger and better than ever. That Main Building still stands today, topped by the gleaming Golden Dome, not only as an iconic campus building, but as an ongoing symbol of perseverance and vision.

위와 같이 노틀담 멘도자MBA에 지원하기 위해서는 GMAT점수와 영어토플점수가 필요합니다. 그러니 지금 얼리라운드나 1라운드에 맞추어서 지원을 하려면 GMAT을 만들어야 합니다. 이제 7월이 다되었으니 4개월간의 GMAT공부를 해서 10월말까지 GMAT을 만들고 12월말까지, 또는 2월까지 토플이나 IELTS를 만든후에 바로 입학지원을 시작하면 됩니다.
