오늘은 반달곰원장이 설연휴기간동안 많이 먹어서 살쪘던 것을 조금은 빼고 싶어서 연세대학교 뒷산인 안산을 올라갔습니다. 어제 내린 눈이 그대로 쌓여서 하얀산을 즐길 수 있었습니다. 요즘 운동을 좀 게을리하고 너무 열심히 일을 했더니 안산같이 가벼운 산에 오르는데도 힘이 들더군요. 일도 좋지만 틈틈이 운동을 열심히 해야 하겠습니다.
오늘은 Budapest Business School BBS의 프로그램을 설명드리겠습니다. 학교 이름에서 알 수 있듯이 BBS는 헝가리 부다페스트에 있는 business studies, social science을 전문으로 하는 공립대학교 비즈니스스쿨입니다. Austria-Hungary 의 상인과 은행인들에 의해서 1857년에 설립되었는데 중앙유럽에서 higher education의 economic vocational training을 목표로 만들어진 것입니다. BBS는 공식적으로 세계에서 가장 오래된 public business school이고 ESCP Europe다음으로 셰계에서 두번째로 가장 오래된 비즈니스스쿨입니다. 그럼 BBS가 어떤 전공들을 제공 하는지 알아보도록 하겠습니다.

위와 같이 bachelor degree과정과 master degree과정을 제공하고 있는데 전부는 아니지만 일부 전공은 영어로 프로그램을 제공합니다. bachelor's program중에는 영어로 제공하는 과정이 commerce and marketing, finance and accounting, international business economics, tourism and catering 입니다. 그리고 master's program중에 영어로 제공하는 과정은 international economics and business, international relations, tourism management 입니다.
이 과정중에서 석사과정 international economics and business 에 대한 세부사항과 입학조건등에 대해서 알아보도록 하겠습니다. 이 과정은 영어로 제공을 하는데 4학기 과정입니다. 즉, 2년공부를 하게 됩니다. 그리고 이 과정에 입학하기 위해서는 비즈니스 관련된 공부를 했느냐, 인터뷰를 얼마나 잘 했느냐 등을 point화해서 합격여부를 판단합니다. 그리고 이외에도 포인트화할 수 있는 요소들을 살펴보면 아래와 같습니다.

- 2nd language proficiency exam / advanced (C1) complex: 6 points

- Institutional TDK (Scientific Students' Associations), place 1-3: 3 points
- OTDK (Council of National Scientific Students' Associations), place 1-3: 5 points
- Sports accomplishments: World and European Championship, place 1-3: 5 points
- Specific professional experience: 5 points
- Professional training activity: 10 point
- Relevant degree in the National Qualification Register degree: 3 points
이렇게 여러가지 요소로 후보자들을 평가하여 점수를 계산하여 합격여부를 결정합니다. BBS 석사과정의 학비는 한학기당 315000HUF 입니다. 한화로 계산하면 126만원정도 됩니다. 4학기라고 해도 5백만원 정도 밖에 안되는 저렴한 학비입니다. 그래서 우리나라나 영국, 미국 대학교 석사로 진학하고 싶으나 학비가 너무나 비싸서 엄두가 안나는 분중에 유럽시장을 공략하고 싶은 분들은 헝가리 석사과정에 지원하는 것도 좋은 방법입니다.
