오늘은 네델란드의 좋은 비즈니스 스쿨에 대해서 이야기하고자 합니다. 우리나라에서는 잘 알려지지 않은 비즈니스스쿨인데 바로 TIAS Business School입니다. 우리나라에서는 네델란드 MBA중에서는 로테르담비즈니스스쿨 RSM MBA가 유명하고 반달곰원장도 올해 한분이 합격할 수 있게 수속을 모두 도와드렸습니다. 그럼 오늘 소개해드리는 TIAS Business School은 어떠한 학교인지 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
TIAS Business School의 공식적인 명칭은 TIAS School for Business and Society 입니다. 두 학교 Tilburg University 와 Eindhoven University of Technology의 비즈니스스쿨인데 post experience management education에 촛점을 맞추고 있습니다. TIAS Business School은 많은 캠퍼스를 두고 있는데 메인 캠퍼스는 Tilburg와 Utrecht에 있습니다. 그럼 TIAS Business School의 랭킹이 어떤지 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.

위에서 보면 나름대로 비즈니스스쿨랭킹에서 상위랭크되어 있는 것을 알 수가 있습니다. 파이낸셜타임지에서 유럽랭킹 탑 25위안에 랭크되었습니다. 그리고 인증은 3대인증기관중에 2개인 AACSB와 AMBA의 인증을 받고 있습니다. TIAS Business School에는 MBA와 Executive MBA가 있는데 오늘은 MBA에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다.
TIAS MBA는 12개월, 1년MBA 입니다. 2017년 9월 18일에 시작하는데 이 프로그램에 지원하기위해서는 7월1일까지 지원서를 제출하면 됩니다. TIAS MBA의 학비는 37500유로입니다. 그럼 TIAS Business School MBA에 지원하기 위한 admission requirement가 무엇인지 알아보겠습니다.
Admisssion requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- A solid GMAT (average is 620; our school code is 23X-LT-99)
- Minimum of 3 years relevant full-time work experience (average is 7 years)
- Strong command of written and spoken English (TOEFL of 90 or IELTS of 6.5 is required)
A high GMAT score does not guarantee admission, just as a low score doesn't preclude admission. We accept students with lower GMAT scores if we believe this can be offset by stronger areas in one’s profile. Since we are such a very diverse school, we are keen to see whether you have worked, lived, studied abroad, or worked for an international company. So while a solid GMAT score is important, it is not necessarily a deal breaker.
입학조건들을 살펴보면 GMAT평균점수가 620점입니다. 그러나 GMAT은 평가 요소중의 하나일 뿐입니다. GMAT이 높다고 학교이 된다는 보장도 GMAT점수가 낮다고 불합격으로 처리된다고 생각하실 필요는 없습니다. 영어는 IBT 90점, IELTS 6.5이상을 요구하고 있습니다. 그렇게 높은 점수는 아니나 신경써서 준비하여야 하는 점수입니다. TIAS MBA를 공부한 동문들의 Testmonials를 올려놓았는데 맨위에 있는 것이 바로 한국분입니다.
