오늘은 미국 보스톤에 있는 Boston University 의 비즈니스스쿨인 Questrom School of Business에 대해서 알아보겠습니다. 보스톤의 상징같이 느껴지는 보스톤대학교의 Questrom School of Business는 1913년에 생겼습니다. BU Questrom School of Business에서는 Bachelor Science in Business Administration BABS, Master of Business Administration MBA, Master of Science in Mathematical Finance, Master of Science in Management Science MAMS 등을 제공하고 있습니다.
학생수만 학부가 거의 2000명수준이고 대학원생은 1000명이 안되는 수준으로 상당히 큰 비즈니스스쿨입니다. 규모가 큰 것이 아니라 퀄리티도 좋아서 MBA랭킹에서는 항상 좋은 결과들을 만들어 오고 있습니다. 그럼 대표적인 랭킹들을 undergraduate and graduate으로 나누어서 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.

2 Letters of Recommendation In the “Recommendations” section of the “Program Materials” portion of the application.
University-Level Transcripts Submit transcripts for any coursework completed, including study abroad and post-graduate work, in the “Academic History” portion of the application. You may upload unofficial transcripts when you apply.
GMAT Results or GRE Results We accept either GMAT or GRE score reports for applications to the MBA program. English Language Proficiency
TOEFL: BU’s TOEFL code is 3087, department code is 02. Minimum Scores of 600 on the PBT or 90 on the iBT are recommended.
IELTS: A student must score a minimum of 6.5 across each band.
BU의 경우 GMAT과 GRE점수를 모두 받고 있는 최저점수에 대한 조건은 없습니다. 그리고 영어는 IBT 90, IELTS 6.5를 요구하고 있어 나름 영어기준이 높지않아서 다행입니다. 그러니 충분히 GMAT과 영어를 준비해서 BU Questrom MBA에 도전할 수가 있습니다. 그리고 Wwork experience관련하여 요구사항은 없습니다. 그러므로 직장경력이 없는 분들도 지원하실 수가 있습니다. 그럼 2017학년도 입학을 위한 지원서 제출을 위한 일정을 살펴보겠습니다.

위의 일정을 보면 2라운드 지원마감일은 내일 1월 4일입니다. 2라운드를 목표로 하는 분들은 준비를 잘 하셔서 지원서 제출 잘 하시길 바랍니다. 그리고 마지막 3라운드 마감은 3월 22일 입니다. 약 3개월 가량의 넉넉한 시간이 있으므로 준비 잘해주시길 바랍니다. 학비는 1년에 49800달러로 2년MBA이므로 약 10만불입니다. 저렴하지 않은 학비입니다. 생활비까지 고려한다면 경제적인 부담이 큽니다. 그러나 잘 주닙해서 GMAT점수를 잘 받으면 장학금을 노릴 수가 있습니다. 그런 장학금을 받지 못한다면 BU Questrom MBA선택하여 지원하는 것이 쉽지는 않을 것 같습니다. 그럼 미국MBA, 보스톤MBA준비 잘 하시고 도움 필요하시면 연락주시길 바랍니다.
