1라운드 지원마감은 11월 11일 입니다. 총 3라운드의 지원만을 받고 있기에 1라운드 지원을 해두는 것이 편할 수 있습니다. 2라운드 마감은 1월 13일 3라운드 마감은 3월 23일 입니다. 그러면 CEIBS MBA의 에세이 질문에 대해서 말씀드리겠습니다. 다른 탑MBA들보다는 질문이 좀 많은 편입니다.
에세이 질문은 아래와 같습니다.

1.Discuss your post-MBA career aspirations (short term and long term) and explain how you plan to achieve them. (300 words). |
For question 2(a)~2(c), you only need to answer one of the three questions.
2(a).CEIBS is situated in Shanghai - a truly global city, and the economic center of the world’s soon to be largest economy. Given its unique location, how do you anticipate that Shanghai will differentiate your MBA experience and contribute to your goals? (400 words).
2(b).Many would argue that entrepreneurship is not necessarily a state of being, but a state of mind. Describe an entrepreneurial experience where you went against the grain or conventional way of thinking, to discover and create new value. (400 words).
2(c).Identify up to two trends, big or small, that you see unfolding in the next decade. Discuss how the(se) trend(s) might affect you and your career, and how you plan to address them during your MBA and/or after you graduate. (400 words)
3."As the world’s largest consumer market and fastest growing economy of the last three decades, China has offered outstanding opportunities for international professionals in search of a career boost. Searching for job or making a career switch outside one’s own market always presents new challenges such as differences in language, culture, etc. In order to optimize your career search and possibilities after graduation, what efforts – outside of utilizing the school’s career services – do you plan to make in order to reach your professional objectives?"（400 words)
4.(Optional) Is there any other information that you believe would be helpful to the MBA Admission Committee in evaluating your application?(200 words). Re-applicants are suggested to describe the progress you have made since your previous application.
CEIBS MBA는 탑MBA인 만큼 GMAT점수와 에세이가 매우 중요합니다. 물론 그것을 바탕으로한 인터뷰는 더 중요하겠습니다. 올해의 경우를 보더라도 인터뷰를 매우 잘햇는데도 불구하고 GMAT점수가 조금 낮으니까 조건부합격을 주었습니다. GMAT을 650점 정도를 맞으면 충분히 가능성이 있습니다. 그보다 못할 경우는 에세이와 인터뷰를 잘하면 가능성이 있습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 GMAT점수를 600점대 초반까지는 만들어야 희망을 걸어 볼 수가 있겠습니다.
그리고 CEIBS MBA는 GMAT시험이외에도 CEIBS 자체시험을 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 그러나 여러불 수 있는 것이 아니고 GMAT시험처럼 받은 점수중에 가장 좋은 점수를 제출하는 시스템이 아니다보니 더 어렵게 생각할 수가 있습니다. 그러니 CEIBS 자체시험 보는 것은 지프라기 잡는 심정으로 보신다고 생각하십시오.
