아시아 탑 MBA중의 하나인 싱가폴국립대학교 NUS MBA는 2016학년도 입학지원일정도 admission requirements를 정리하여 웹사이트에 올려 놓았습니다. 17개월 2학기로 이루어진 NUS MBA는 지원자격조건중에서 Work experience를 매우 중요시 합니다. 최소 직장경력이 2년이상이어야 지원자격이 있으니 반드시 참고하시길 바랍니다.
NUS MBA의 2016학년도 입학지원일정은 아래와 같습니다.
Full-Time NUS MBA Application Dates
The application window is from 01 October 2015 – 31 March 2016.
Round I: 01 October 2015 – 31 January 2016 (Scholarship Qualifying Period)
Round II: 01 February 2016 – 31 March 2016
NUS MBA는 딱 2번의 입학지원 라운드가 있는데 1월 31일 1라운드 마감을 하고 3월 31일에 2라운드 마감을 합니다. 그리고 다른 MBA처럼 일찍 지원서를 제출해야 장학금혜택의 기회가 있습니다. 그러므로 1월 31일까지인 1라운드 마감을 놓치지 마시길 바랍니다. NUS MBA는 31일 강남 르네상스호텔에서 열리는 The MBA Tour에 참가를 합니다. 그러므로 NUS MBA에 관심있는 분들은 MBA박람회에 가셔서 담당자들을 만나보고 많은 정보를 얻으시길 바라겠습니다. 참고로 9월 1일에 있는 QS World MBA Tour에는 참가하지 않습니다.
그러면 NUS MBA의 admission requirements를 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.
- A copy of your resume
- A copy of your undergraduate degree scroll
- A copy of your undergraduate degree transcripts/mark sheets
- A copy of your Test Taker's GMAT/GRE report
- A copy of your IELTS/TOEFL report (if the medium of instructions for your undergraduate studies was not in English)
- A copy of your passport, NRIC or Employment Pass (upload only onE that is applicable to you)
- A passport-sized photograph
- A copy of your "Financial Supporting" documents
여기서 가장 궁금해 하시는 것이 GMAT점수이겠지요? 합격생들의 평균 GMAT성적을 살펴보면 2012년 658년, 2013년 672년, 2014년 662점입니다. NUS MBA에서는 최소 600점이상의 GMAT성적을 요구합니다. 그리고 영어점수가 중요한데 IBT 100점, CBT 260점, PBT 620점이상 또는 IELTS 6.5점 이상, PTE 68점이상을 요구합니다. 영어점수만드는 것이 중요한 변수입니다. IELTS 6.5만드는 것이 쉬울 수 있습니다.
에세이는 세개의 질문과 하나의 optional 에세이가 있습니다. 300word로 작성해야 합니다. 에세이 주제를 살펴보면 아래와 같습니다.
NUS essay 1: We would like you to tell us about your post-MBA immediate career goals and how your professional experiences have prepared you to achieve these goals. You may do so by a 300 words written essay or a two-minute video. If you wish to submit a video, you can upload it on YouTube, change the privacy settings to “Unlisted” and email us the URL. Alternatively, you can send in your video to us in a thumbdrive or CD. (Maximum : 300 words)
NUS essay 2: The mission of NUS Business School is to advance knowledge and develop leaders so as to serve business and society. Discuss how you will contribute toward advancing the mission based on examples of past work and activities. (Maximum : 300 words)
NUS essay 3: (Only applicable to re-applicants)
Please provide an update on any new aspects of your professional, international, academic or personal profile that would not have been included in your previous application. Please also explain your motivation for re-applying to NUS. (Maximum: 300 words)
NUS essay 4: Tell us something interesting or unique about yourself which you think would be helpful for the Admission Committee to better evaluate your candidacy. (Maximum: 300 words)
